Karen McCormack and Colleen Scanlan were born and raised in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston, and they have seen the neighborhood change. JP lost many small businesses to large corporations, and the quality of service and personal attention has decreased. Their company gives them the opportunity to provide great, personal service, while the blog lets them promote independent companies who deserve recognition.
